thoughts on Joker: Folie à Deux?

unfortunately not watching joker since the hurricane is making a direct path towards my hometown, but for those of you who did what did you think? ive heard a lot of negativity, but i think it’s coming from a place of not understanding the point of the movie. do you agree, or was the movie not that good? ive been waiting for this movie for years, and i really like that there’s a musical aspect. i think its super fitting, but I know thats a huge problem for some people

It was great they put in a really concrete narrative and followed through it even to the end, referencing earlier parts in the end. I think why people hate it so much is because people weren’t able to understand where the movie was going with its direction, but it doesn’t matter because it still found its target audience. :)

Really really loved it. From the acting to the musical scene to the message. It’s a movie about arthur’s mental health and his relationship with lee and not that much of an action film so i think that’s why people didn’t like it that much♥️🖤

@robrrt i honestly really love this direction they’re taking with the movie. i feel like it’s super important to have these conversations about what mental health can do to someone. i think im definitely gonna cry when i watch it😭

I like it a lot, just a couple of scenes where singing wasn't really necessary, but overall a great movie. The acting was 1000000/10

Well first of all Gaga was amazing and Joker too. Amazing acting for sure. The music was also great but I personally am not the musical type of person. I still liked it my favorite scene is even a music part so that has to mean something. I just wished they did more on the story and got more into Harley Quinn but other than that it was okay.
