My best friend verbally abuses me?

My best friend verbally abuses me. She would bring up my mistakes and then use them to her advantage. She would also call me obscene names that are extremely hurtful. She makes me feel like the shittiest friend in the world. Her words are tearing me apart. It's eating me alive. I don't know what to do. I don't wish to end our friendship; I cannot imagine life without her. My life would feel so incomplete if I lose her. What should I do?

If she was really your friend, she wouldn't bring you down! She should be saying stuff like 'bitch, never give up! you can do this shit!' and stuff like that. If you really want to save this relationship, confront your friend. It's time :) and if you don't think that it can work out, make other friends! There are so many fish in the sea dude! Start fishing!

well then she's not a very good friend. Friends are supposed to support you in every way possible. Friends should always be for you and never against you. This friend does NOT show that obviously. Tell her how she's making you feel. Explain to her that the way she talks to you is hurtful. Then if she keeps it up then I would say to just move on and not pay attention. Incomplete is way better than having someone always tell you something you've done wrong and being torn apart. :)

Feeling incomplete is better than feeling hurt every day. That incompleteness will go away with time, but, if you continue being friends with her and she makes you feel like crap, that will stay with you. She's not really your friend if she makes you feel tat way. I say, cut the cords completely and try and hang out with an old friend that you haven't seen in a while more.

You could try telling her how much her friendship means to you and that her words hurt... another option is to put your focus on meeting a new friend (who will treat you with kindness)
