In August 2009, my sister and I stayed up late specifically to watch Gaga’s V Festival performance live on 4Music. The Fame Ball doesn’t get the recognition it deserves, her rendition of Paparazzi was phenomenal, and still my favourite live version of the song. It was the performance that officially made me a fan. There isn’t a single entertainer, dead or alive, that mesmerised me the same way she did that night.
