A question regarding Gaga's fur coat

I have no idea if the fur coat Gaga was seen wearing is real or not, but if it was why is it such a big deal? You all were okay when she wore the meat dress, is this really any different? Where do you draw the line when it comes to what's okay to wear and what's not?

The issue I have involves certain animals strictly being harvested for their fur. I don't agree when it's solely done for fashion. Whilst at least with meat (ie; a cow), most is and can be put to good use, so for me the two aren't exactly comparable.

The fur industry is a cruel world. The meat industry needs improvements but those animals used for fur have suffered terribly in life and then in their death. It actually tears me apart to think of it

If you do a little research, she mention's the designer Hermes who is a french designer which doesn't sale any fur coats or dresses.
