“Twelve year old Maddi’s wish to meet Lady Gaga came true! Maddi received her very own personal visit from the pop-star at the Royal Children’s Hospital, when Lady Gaga dropped in from her busy tour around Australia earlier this year! Maddi was not only able to meet the world’s most popular music artist but was given tickets to attend Lady Gaga’s concert later that night at the BEC! But that’s not all, while Lady Gaga was performing in her show, she took the time to tell the crowd of her meeting with Maddi earlier that day! She spoke fondly of her experience and while speaking of her time with Maddi, said that she had made a new friend and one that she would never forget! Lady Gaga then went on to dedicate her ballad “Speechless” to Maddi - how awesome is that! Maddi described her experience meeting Lady Gaga and seeing her concert as an “extremely amazing, surreal and definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity”.
