My name is Eric Kristiansen, and I wanted to tell you something important to me. I was ridiculed, and made fun of and disowned by most everyone I knew after I came out as a gay boy, including family and friends. And everyday hope seemed to fade away. I tried so hard to become myself and live how I wanted but nothing ever worked. No one supported me, no one wanted to date me, only use me for their own pleasure, and I refused to let them. I was homeless and on the streets for a couple months, and I became sick. And when everything fell apart, I had decided that death would be my only way out from the pain, and even my last pleas for help through facebook and txts to friends were ignored. But as I walked down the street, close to the traffic on the road, the one boy I had known only a mere two days came to my rescue, and took me in to live with him. The whole car ride to his house that night we listened to your music, and every song had such a beautiful message that I cried, because I knew although I did not know you personally, you were, and still are, my true friend, and I love you very much. That boy, is now my fiance, and we live, laugh, and love everyday, always with your messages being sung in our hearts, and of course the radio.
