Why do I even Bother?

I don't know why I even bother coming on here, anymore. I originally joined this site to chat with and make friends with my fellow monsters, but this site has quickly become something it is not since I joined. Now, all I can see on this site is occasional, what could be considered "pornographic" images, and very little Gaga. It saddens me when I go into a chat, wanting to talk with fellow monsters, and all they can do is ignore me and begin to talk about the most inappropriate of things. I lose more respect for the supposed "Monsters" of this community every day, and this is upsetting... :(

So why not bring this up with Backplane. Also you can notify them of any soft porn pics. You can vote them down also. Why do you let a few hundred people who gid know want to make this their own personal porn site get you down. There are 300,000 at the moment membership. It is our community and so we need to act. Just giving up is not Gaga's way. Also a lot of these so called little monsters are no such thing. So don't go judging all monsters. We can tske back our wonderful creative site step by step but only if we act together and do not get discouraged.

John, I couldn't agree more with you. It has been a sense of frustration and loss of purpose for the real fans and how this web site is to be used. Try to be patient. I know that Ms. Gaga is aware of a lot of the problems as she truly cares so deeply for her fan base. However, as with all cyberspace/web sites like this one. It is difficult to cull out would be trash talkers, photos of porn, bully, etc. All that we can do as fans is to flag anything inappropriate. With all the mega base of fans, unethical people will utilize this sight to promote themselves or agitate us. The site is still new, so we must do our part by flagging and, again, be as patient as possible. We still have each other for support.:)))))

I experimented with the chats a while ago and was surprised by the lack of actual conversation. I would also really like to make a connection but like Michelle mentioned it's arduous

Don't give up hope! I'm was much the same but I've been having more and more genuine conversations with Monsters on chat- yesterday there was a chat called "20+ monsters" or something like that, where I had such a lovely chat with atleast 8 really lovely Monsters. It's a little arduous but the Monsters that are looking for real connection are out there! (This includes me, don't hesitate to message/chat with me) Paws up x
