I just had my first run-in with homophobia on this site

Someone made the comment "you weren't born faggot or lesbian." Maybe I was naive to assume that this site would only be filled with judgement free MONSTERS, but I guess it can only be expected that there will be the odd homophobic member, who isn't even a fan of gaga. After all it is a public site. It's really sad though, because I loved the illusion that this was a completely safe forum where everyone got along and shared the same views about love and acceptance :(

Lady Gaga didn't want this to happen. The web site is for reinforcing creativity, individualality, bravery, sharing stories, providing positive support, other web site help sites, enjoy perusing the latest Lady Gaga photos, fashion sketches, having fun, etc. So ignore those postings. Continue to read and post something of interest or request of support/listener. I sense that you are a very nice, carrying person. We need you and a lot more here. Hope to see another post from you, Sarah Jane. We Sarahs must stick together! I had at least four relatives with the name Sarah.

Sorry, it's late but I keep adding to postings, sorry again. There will always be that agitator, sexual predator, porn photos, blogs on masterbation (no kidding as I just read one. How inappropriate.) we have to monitor the site for those kind of people. If you see a posting that is inappropriate, fag it. The flag is by the thumbs up or down. A box will cone up and ask you wht you flagged it. We really all need to be brave and do this.

I agree with Marissa, report it. It is sad that people go out of their way to make others hurt, you should never put up with abuse but remember, no one is judgement-free, there's always bound to be someone who believes something you don't. We're supposed to accept and love always, not just when it's easy.

Report it. seriously. thats NOT what this place is about. you need to report things like that if you see them. Top right corner of their profile is a settings icon click it and flag.

If you feel unhappy i'd report it. Even if you don't agree with gay people(as some don't inexplicably) it's one thing(albeit wrong) but to use a derogatory term such as faggot shouldn't be allowed in my view anyway.
