GROUP CHAT "CLIQUES"

I feel intimidated when i see groups called "Gays only!" or "Hot people" because i feel like i come here to speak to lots of monsters but then i feel some only want to socialize and talk to a distinct group.. I mean don't get me wrong it's fine if you want to meet another monster and have relationships but there's private message and i feel like it's turning into a dating site. Sorry if this offended anyone somehow. PS i am not bashing on sexuality, i am a LBGT supporter.

It shouldn't offend anyone because you raise a legitimate point, it's marginalizing anyone who doesn't "fit in" in that particular group, and that's what we stand against, right?

I have nothing against gays or lesbians or whatever else you wnat to be as I have many friends who are gay and bi and stuff. However If I were to make a "straights only" chat i would most probably get hated on and called homophobic. Cant we all just mix together?

But I met a good friend in "Hot boys gay", if you don't want to be in in the sexualised conversations then don't participate, create your own chatroom and people will join, otherwise clearly this site is dominated by horny gays and there is nothing that we can really do to stop them, they are just being themselves.

i agree with you we are all supost to be together and them doing tht id not any different from being at school during lunch and not being able to sit somewhere because ur not part of tht click

if you feel excluded just pretend you gay and plunge in.But if you are not gay you will soon get annoyed by their gay chatter and leave on your own

Believe it or not but outside of this website gays are still hugely judged in real life, plus it's your choice to go in the chat room or not

You are absolutely correct in your assessment. Although I haven't seen this as yet. This is definitely not a dating site. This for support and safety to encourage others that they are wanted and worthy. If someone states a so in so group, then they are participating in hypocrisy. Hope those involved get the message. Thanks Kelsey for the info.

I don''t mind chats such as Aussie Monsters because I like to meet Aussie monsters as well as from everywhere, but the dating ones are just stupid.

Same. I feel rejected. Like there's a chat for every country but i dont want to chat with Monsters of my country, i want to chat with Monsters from every where.
