I Don't Get It

I really don't understand most of you. Gaga creates this site as a place to have the freedom to express yourself without bullying and judgement. Everything Gaga has ever done and said has been opposed to bullying. Then why is it, Little Monsters, that whenever I'm on here I see so many people bashing Madonna, Britney, Katy, etc. Do you understand that you are participating in cyberbullying when you do that? This is not the purpose of this site, it's meant to be a place of love and acceptance. Please stop the hate.

There is a God! I am 110% behind you. In fact, I have posted that one who trashes our icon is being an hypocrite. It is not that I like what is posted, because the problems usually from media trash fodder or the celebrity who is tras talking to Lady Gaga. The last time that heard her say anything at Madonna via media was about how Madonna wrote the Bad Romance from her Express Yourself. The two songs had nothing in common, and I am not a music major. I thought Ms. Gaga gave a most articulat, intellectual, adult comeback answer to Madoona via media. We must remember what she has and will do for us. Pleas go visit the Born This Way Foundation website. This is where her heart lays and next to her our her fans. Let us not get on the trashy talk people. If we ignore the, because Ms. Gaga knows how to take up for herself, "they" will find something else or someone to trash. We want this website to promote a positive, supportive environment. Personally, I hate trash talk to my icon and have to yell it out at home and then be unemotional when I go to littlemonsters website. Remember, please have a supportive person to talk things over with. I truly believe that Lady Gaga has a great thing going for us. Do not swat those trashy talkers. Do not get on their level!,,,,{*_*}

repeat and repeat again. I've been getting sick of this type of post. We're here to visit, is just gonna be relax, be tolerant, be peace. You need not understand how the bullying comes, how other monsters hate Madonna, Britney & Katy.etc!!

I remember the SNL that Lady Gaga & Madonna starred in. I also remember that they seemed to really enjoy each other. Gaga herself stated that Madonna was an inspiration to her, but I completely get why Monster's are upset by Gaga's work being called "reductive". I wasn't pleased with it myself & do not think it was a mature way to handle the situation, but if we start slamming the hate word around and eluding to Madonna needing to be knocked off, we are acting in a way that goes completely against the message that our idol is trying to spread. When I listen to Gaga's music or look at her pictures, I think of things such as kindness, empathy, compassion, acceptance, strength, wisdom, etc; Truth be known I could list a thousand reasons this woman means so much to me. If we truly love Lady Gaga & want to follow her message then we need to live by the ideals we claim to support. Hatred & slander are not what Gaga preaches. Her response to the "reductive" statement was a very classy way to go about standing up for herself. Remember what she said Little Monster's: "We are not in that place anymore, there is no need to put people down.I don't feel good when I belittle anyone. I don't feel good when I make someone feel bad about themselves. Its not relevant anymore to be hateful about equality." -Lady Gaga

Indeed, people yesterday in the chat I was in started to compare Gaga with Madonna, I stepped in to tell them that Madonna was also a very good artist in her day, and that she produced some quality stuff, the little monsters soon stopped comparing. If your in a chat and this happens be strong step in and make the monsters see the errors in their ways, if they are true monsters they will soon realise and stop comparing / bashing! This cyber bullying is annoying though, but sadly that is the type of world that we live in now.

I think there's more fans like us who are of sound mind and then a bunch of fans who take it to the extreme and want to show their devotion through these kinds of attacking posts. I'm glad you posted this and I hope more posts like this show up to encourage dialogue about bullying.

They are not only bashing celebrities, some are actively bashing other monsters. The problem is there really is no way to screen a person's intent when they sign up. In other words, are they just here to cause trouble and get attention or are they a true monster. It is up to us to use the Contact button at the bottom of our screen to report those who does not belong here. I used it to report someone and the administrators got back to me the next day to confirm they took care of it. The more we stay on top of this, the better the website will be, and we and Gaga deserve that.
