2012 VMAs

I know a lottttt of monsters are outraged that our Gagaloo didn't get any nominations for this year's MTV VMAs. I don't blame you, I was outraged at first too. Then I looked on the inside of the BTW cover and saw 'This album is for U' and I realized that Born This Way will never achieve a success greater than what it has already done for all of us. 65 VMAs does not top saving that one person from committing suicide, or cutting, or crying themselves to sleep. 65 VMAs does not top that fierce f*ing strut we all have when we listen to BTW on our ipods because it gives us so much confidence. This album is from Gaga, to US. Not to them. WE received it and WE benefited from it, and WE'RE all stronger for it (in our own ways). 65 VMAs will never top that. Should Gaga have received credit where credit was due? Hell yes. But at the end of the day monsters, this album is for US, we live it, and we love it; and I don't give a shit if THEY understood it or not.

well. she got Grammy nods for it, much more important than the VMAs. Then also, they didn't nominate her because they knew from the beginning she couldn't attend.

So true!! I was a bit disappointed at first but I know this album is important to us and not many people can understand what we feel when we listened to BTW album. It changed many people's lives and perceptions at the same ytime. Paws Up!

Gosh! Well stated! You are absolutely correct. I was so angry when I reviewed all the nominees. It was like, have you not heard of Paparatzi? Then I thought, it there loss. She lives for her fans and vice versa? She has the world literally at her feet. Please, however, go to Born This Way Foundation website. This where her heart and soul are and beside her is her fans. There so much envy out there, because they want to be her---but no one has the super intelligence, creativity, and love for her fans but her. I admit that I look at musical/dance reality TV shows. The guest stars look so, try to look or imitate what Lady Gaga did months ago. What counts is that we support her and that loves all her fan base. I say who cares about the snubbing! Itis their loss and greed, envy is all that they can do to intimidate her. She is, pardon the old expression, one tough cookie, like alligator hide. Great discussion topic. I want be turning on to that special. Do you hear that commercial sponsors. I will read who one the next day and see if my predictions were spot on. [^_^]
