The word "bullying" is a dirty, overused word. We should say "verbal assault" or "hatefulness".

I don't think rules will, but adults who listen and act sure can. But I bet that's too much to ask for.

In my day, anyone who bullied at my school was soon met by a swift kick up the arse by the headmaster, followed by detention and a letter being sent home to their parents. Bullying has always been around, but back when I was at school the teachers were actually allowed to do something about it, that is sadly lacking in schools now so as a result it is very hard to stop.

It's literally illegal where I live. But unfortunately that doesn't stop people.

That would be nice, but it's very hard to regulate violence among students. Let's just hope something changes soon,
