Soo my Religion teacher today decided to tell us all about her hate against gay marriage, then everyone started arguing and told her to get back in her box, so i yell ''WELL PEOPLE ARE BORN THIS WAY!" then BAM! the class breaks out in Born This Way! Made my day so much :D <3 lady gaga

This is an absolute disgrace to the profession of eduction. I have posted one of my many life experiences that I thought I could not have just heard that comment from people that have the duty to make their beliefs channelled into our youth, under, and grad students. Again, I have tried to make changes in the way that I have taught my students. I was deemed a trouble maker, because I infused teaching and learning theories to include times for something funny or specify what the student should know to assist them in their exams. A student can only absorb a certain amount of new info. I remember how thick those school books were. As I was a guest lecture for the nurse's care of a sexual assault victim. I gave them the facts that a new under grad needed to know on the exam and licensing exam. I did show some graphic slides of a sexual assault victim during the emergency room exam. I got a standing ovation from the students. The other two permanent lecturers were in shock. I also heard the Dean of undergrad nursing university in Texas stats that "I wish we did not have any mental health courses in any nursing curriculum;it is a waste of time". I could not believe that this woman who should be one of the most caring professionals could be so vehemently about a course that encompasses some degree in every nursing course.
