Im pretty sure that the cds that were sold for.99 cents were not counted in the sales stats. As they were calling it "manipulation" HOWEVER, if your a true gaga fan, you will all know, that in a past interview gaga has said that she would love to just give her music away for free. I LOVE GAGA, and i feel that by her giving her cd for .99cents is her way of being able to give people who are not in the greatest financial place the oppurtunity to buy and support an artist they love.

Yes, the others haven´t offered their album for 99 cents. The truth is that BTW was a flop in sales. People are stupid or they work in a record label that´s why they worried about "sales in first week". In any case, sales only measure popularity. There were many artists who have died without recognition and without money in their lives. Mareover, Madonna was (and still be) a legend....sales are not important now.
