gaga's lip injections

Is anybody else disappointed in Gaga for getting lip injections? I mean, she goes around preaching to us about loving yourself and accepting who you are and how you were born, and then goes and changed one of the most beautiful features on herself. I dont think its right that she would do that, and it sort of makes her seem a little hypocritical about the whole "born this way" message...

I was a little dissapointed when i saw her lips aswell, but now that i know they are not permanent im cool. She doesnt need to change herself, she is soo beautiful.

I understand how it be seen as hypocritical, but I think we all understand 'Born This Way' as a love yourself anthem. I don't see any wrong in getting the lip injections because they aren't permanent and sometimes you do get bored of your features, so you maybe dye your hair or get a haircut. It's not like she got a nose job and a chin job, she didn't permanently alter her features. Besides, what if she did decide to get plastic surgery? I believe getting plastic surgery is only a sign of weakness if you do not accept and love yourself before the surgery. 'Born This Way' is meant to inspire confidence in people to love themselves for who they are, once you love yourself it doesn't hurt to indulge a little, no?

I think the Born this way concept is based on loving who you are, lip injections are no worse than makeup. once you love yourself there is no shame in enhancing

If the whole thing isn’t based on an idea or concept it would be disappointing indeed. Let’s see. I sometimes think that at the moment she is dealing with much too many things.

Yeah I really don'y understand why she got lip injections. I have always thought her lips/mouth were one of her most beautiful features also. But it looks pretty natural and not overdone the way some stars do it. It could have possibly been for her part in the film, or like someone said all part of whatever she has brewing for the next album/era concept.

Ok, now it's confirmed. I was Looking at the Last pictures of her and thought "her lips looks different...", but Nobody was posted something like this and I was like "okay, maybe she is just trying a new make up or something."

I'm also dissapointed. I don't know but lately she seems like a different person and I don't like it. If it's for the new album maybe she is taking it too far. And everyone here seems to accept it and tells everyone to stop complaining but when you see the fans on Gagadaily they have a different (and maybe not as delusional 'I love everything she does') opinion.

What about hair? :) I see no contradiction, because to me the BTW message isn't skin deep and includes not being judged for your choices too. It isn't like she's expressing hate/rejection of her features, is it?

Yeah I'm worried about her too. We have no idea how much pressure she is under as a superstar. L.A has a strong siren call. If you sticks to her roots in New York she will be okay. This wanting to look like a Hollywood movie star is just one of her performance and she will not get lost in the performance that would be a diaster for her and the fans. I love all her different look. But my concern is that the people around her will not give good advice. We will see. She is an amazing talent. As Tony Bennett said she will be fine if everyone leaves her alone. He knows the pressures.

@alejandro that is a very good point, it would make a lot of sense. its true that she isnt acting like herself lately, and it really might be a publicity stunt

I saw this on tumblr.... "Am I the only one who thinks all of the shit Gaga is doing ie: shading other celebs, talking about her boyfriend, smoking weed openly, posting nude photos, getting lip injections and admitting it etc etc is all apart of her leading up to her next album? Because the next album is about (well didn’t she say it was) about the decay of the superstar, and we all know that Gaga is very private and this is very unlike her. She could be literally setting herself up for disaster on purpose. "
