PLEASE HELP

I have been a straight girl my entire life. I am 20 years old, just done with my first year of college& how cliche of me to fall in love with a transgender girl who dresses like a boy. I had no intention of falling in love with Brianna, but she is so beautiful to me in every way & honestly more of a respectful and chivalrous man than I have ever met. I like the person I am when Im with her. my friends and family will not see it the same way. I know there are millions of other people out there with this same problem. I've been dating Brianna for over 4 months now. I've never loved someone so passionately, its real. The problem is she is turning into a secret, not because I'm ashamed of her But what happens when my family and friends exile me?

I'm bisexual, and while I was still figuring out who I am I learned to see people as just PEOPLE. When I look at someone, I don't see a boy or a girl. I see a human. I know your family creates a tough situation with this...I recommend discussing it with them one at a time. (By "discussing" I mean discuss transgender couples, not YOUR transgender relationship.) From there, I think you will be more comfortable with how to handle the situation. Meanwhile, I would talk to Brianna about this. =) I hope I helped! I'm sorry you're in such a pickle =/

continued...- & something happens when me and brianna break up and I have no one? I'm so young and I've never loved a girl and I honestly don't think I am a lesbian, I think I just fell for this person... but I'm having trouble making a life changing decision to tell my friends and family who are extremely religious and risk loosing them for something that I can't guarantee is going to be permanent.
