"Express Yourself" is about female empowerment in a relationship. "Born This Way" is about accepting yourself for who you are, regardless of sexual orientation, race, or cultural difference. There aren't any lyrical similarities between the two songs. Musically, there are hardly any similarities unless you account for the rhythm. Madonna is a loser. Her main talent is dancing and being a heartless cunt. Her singing abilities are sub-par... and her songwriting "skills" aren't innovative or memorable. Many of her hits weren't even written by her, and the few that WERE written by her were only co-written. She's a liar and a thief, fabricating her ENTIRE image from Hollywood glamour icons and Marilyn Monroe. She spends the majority of her time acting like a prissy, egocentric bitch... The reason why Gaga hasn't responded (directly) about all of this "Madonna/Gaga feud" garble is because she has maturity beyond what Madonna can even conceive. I never liked Madge; never will... I think that some of her songs are good, and I think that her impact on pop music and American culture has been significant yet ostentatious. I'm sorry, but I'm just NOT going to listen to people try and convince me otherwise. You're ALLOWED to like Madonna, but don't be blinded by your own fandom. Recognize the truth.
No offense to anybody, but Madonna practially has no self respect. She keeps attacking Gaga, but when will she realise that Mother Monster doesn't care what she says. She needs to back off.
Ok, so appearently madonna was the first person IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE, who told people to be themselves. She seriously need to act her age -.-'
