Finally decided to come out to my parents today. With the launch of the born this way foundation and the fact that they were pretty pissed at me anyway, I figured it couldn’t make things any worse for them to finally know the truth. It was hard. And awkward, and not quite sure how they feel with it. I had bags packed ready if the worse came to the worse (which I thought it might) but things are surprisingly calm. The feeling of freedom and stress of all the lies I’ve made have finally been lifted from my shoulders though. I am now an official free bitch. Work it. Born this way
