Why won't anyone hire me?

I don't get why no one is hiring me. I live in a city called Gisborne in the country New Zealand and most days I am looking for a job. I am only 17 but i still don't understand why I am not being hired? A lot of other people my age are getting jobs really easy, yet no company or shop will hire me. People tell me I need a job and I know I do, but I can't just walk in and ask for a job because no one hires me. I actually am really upset and annoyed by this :/ Its like rejection after rejection and rejection. No one will hire me at all and I'm over it.

I was unemployed for almost a year after a head injury. I couldn't even get the restaurants that I had years of experience in to hire me. I had to start over, but i've been at my new job for over a year, and I can't complain. Don't give up, just be patient, something will come along.

I know you're not going to like me saying this, but really, you have to keep trying. Have you thought of getting someone to take a look at your resume or have a practice interview with you?

Ive had a lot of friends in similar positions, have you tried doing voluntary work to enhance your CV and get yourself out there? Has helped a few people i know?? x
