Think back to school…think back to the kid who sat alone. Did you ever feel this way? If you didn’t you are one of the lucky ones. Too many children suffer in silence. Back in school I was a bystander, I stood and watched that kid be bullied, and I’m ashamed to admit that at the time I was just glad I wasn’t the one being bullied. And if I could turn back time I would have acted differently, I would have been brave enough to stand up for that kid when they weren’t brave enough to stand up for themself. But I can't so I have since made a promise to myself that I will no longer be a bystander, and I ask that you too promise yourself that you will no longer be a bystander.
