The ARTPOP Ball Tour is hours away from kicking off it’s visit in Australia with the #artRAVEPerth. The HAUS of Gaga wants to take you #InsideTheartRAVE with our #MeetTheDancers segment. Meet **Ian McKenzie** from Boston, MA. **Tell us a bit about your dance history:** I started dancing in Boston in phunk phenomenon dance studio. I started dancing after high school. Trained in NYC for a few years. I studied all types of dance and continue to try to grow and advance in my craft. **How do you prepare for show?** I try to do a proper warmup and stretch. But I think the funny part of my prep is some dancers and I either sing loudly and go over choreography. We are always going over the show to make sure we remember all the notes and corrections. **What’s your favorite part of traveling?** I would have to say my favorite part of travel is checking into my hotel room. I get so excited to see the different hotel rooms and layout. Cheesy I know but I love it. I also love seeing different places and trying different foods. **What do you do on your day off?** On my days off I like to sight see and go food tasting. Ssssh... Staying in my room laying in bed relaxing ;) **Favorite Gaga Song:** My favorite gaga song would have to be paparazzi [[lm.paparazzi]] . I love the song and it has special meaning to me. Close second would have to be ARTPOP. **If you weren't dancing what would you be doing?** If I weren't dancing... well that question is hard to answer, but if I weren't dancing I would want to work in real estate. **Any special message for LittleMonsters:** My message to little monsters would be: to work hard for everything you want and know there is a place and chance for you. I also say do all things for yourself not for others. Wanna dance because that's what brings you joy. Not because friends are doing it or you want to be seen next to major artist. Do things that make you genuinely happy. If you always remember why you are doing what you chose to do. I honestly tell people this all the time be nice and humble truly. wish and hope the best for others as it won't affect you when things around you seem to happen for others.
