For all that are wondering. This is a dress that I made for my friend Amy to wear to the Dallas Art Rave on July 17th. #artRaveDallas The dress took me about six months to make, of course I didn't work on it every day. I hand stitched LED ribbons all over a black pencil skirt and then created a shell that velcros over the LEDs. The spikes are all hand cut strips of vellum that I wrapped in white fabric. The LEDs use a small 12V battery and I have a remote control to change the LED patterns. The dress can create about 150 different light patterns.
