"Sometimes the simplest move is right" (Please read)

Before anyone starts calling me a hater i wanna make clear that i LOVE Gaga and ARTPOP and I will support her 'till the end it's just that sometimes i wish Gaga started doing music and performances like in 2008-2009 fresh, fun, catchy and artistic at the same time but no too serious, i think she is taking herself way too seriously with the "everything i do is art" of course what she does is artistic but maybe she is focusing way too much on it, also i think that maybe she doesn't want to take advice from anybody she wants to do it all by herself, thats why the whole ARTPOP era is a mess, yes i know some of their friends betrayed her but she said that everything was good again recently and still there's no promotion or anything, i miss watching Gaga on every tv show, performing at award ceremonies and being on top of charts, i know she says she writes for her and the fans but lets be honest, we all would love to see her on top again, she doesnt needs to make a statement with everything she does/says, i miss the "old" Gaga. Pd. That's just my opinion, you dont have to agree, dont hate me please.

I think most of it has to do with the fact that she no longer works with the original people she worked with during the earlier part of her career. RedOne, the producer who was responsible for most of her hits. Choreographer, Laurieann Gibson was responsible for most of her tight hard hitting choreography. And not to forget her collaboration with Nicola Formichetti who was responsible for her iconic fashion forward outfits. Even her makeup used to be edgier. With that said, I'm not afraid to admit that I'm not a fan of DJWS, which contributes to the reason why I did not enjoy ARTPOP. The album itself does nothing for me sonically. Ever since she started collaborating with him her songs have diluted in quality imo. Applause sounds like a generic forgettable pop song compared to Bad Romance.

Sometimes I feel this way. Others I'm just like.... I love ARTPOP but I wouldn't mind if she slayed the charts to shut everyone else up. Kind of feel the same way.

well, i believe the truth of the matter is that the human condition will always love and want hardships.. now that gaga has already "made it", I can see how her appeal to some monsters would dwindle.. there's no hard struggle to the top anymore for her... it's a great story of endearment that is over now. yes, gaga will continue with new struggles and obstacles but, ones that will now only involve the amount of fame she has gained.. she's no longer that hungry struggling artist.

Gagas priority should be her fans=having #1's on charts. Let's be honest the art and talent she is doing recently will not be remembered. In 10 or 20 years from now she will be mostly remembered by her FAME era and how creative it was.

I hope this doesn't sound rude but guys, we need to move on from The Fame, Gaga isn't the same pop artist she was in the beginning, she's so much more than all the other pop artists now. She's not gonna change and I'm sorry but if you want some generic pop artist that's obsessed with being on top and making the most money then gaga isn't your girl

I think Gaga's songs in Artpop were just pure Gaga songs.. what you all are looking for is the excitement you felt when u saw her genius for the first time.. this has to do with yourselves and your neural receptors getting used to a phenomenon not with Gaga's work

I'm sure many people agree. there is validity to your statement, for sure. it's strange to watch the evolution of pop stars, and we can't possibly imagine what goes on in their personal lives. Maybe she is going out of her way on purpose, maybe 'taking herself way too seriously' is just another part of the social experiment. who knows!

I agree. It's very depressing because my family used to listen to Gaga all the time and support her, but now my parents don't like me listening to it anymore. I will always be a little monster but I agree. Gaga is not the Gaga I fell in love with.

The thing is not because she is "too focus" on art. She has been an artist since she was a girl who no one knew on New York, she has planned EVERY THING since she was like 19 years old. She had everything planned, every step in her carreer. I'm sorry but being so simple is why society is like this. Gaga was just another singer whit Poker Face and Paparazzi. Why did you think she explode on pop industry? Because she was interested in art & she was being herself. She's not simple in the whole way is GAGA. We know her, and we know that if she ever comes back as "simple" is because we don't support her.

I guess you're right at some points. But I think the ARTPOP era was a mess because everyone had different opinions on how the promotion should be. Her label had one wish, her manager and herself. If she would have got to decide from the beinning, like she did most of the time with the other eras, this era wouldn't have been as messy. You're right when you say that there is still no promo although things have been sorted out, but I think she have just had it with this era, she still love the music and the artRave but she's probably tired of all the bad things people say, so now she want to focus on newer projects, as new music and Cheek to Cheek. Monster hugs and paws up [[lm.pawsup]] [[lm.heart]] (P.S sorry if my English is weird, it's not my native language 😛)

As artist persons have their down time, but its messages like these that help set them straight again. Gaga is the greatest thing ever she just need to stay focus and not get "side track" and be the queen we all love and need.
