Why is bisexuality questioned?

Why is it so hard to believe that I can love either a man OR a woman equally? I was never told that I had to make a decision about that. If I can feel equally about all races and religions, why not all genders? Bisexuals are not horny teenagers looking for attention... we are people. I just happen to love EVERYBODY as opposed to a select group. I think that should be praised...not frowned upon! Homosexuality is becoming more accepted in society everyday (Slowly but surely! Pride! <3) but bisexuality still faces question: "Bisexuality doesn't exist", "Bisexuality is just a cry for attention", "Bisexuals are just homosexuals who don't want to admit it yet". I love everybody. White, Black, Asian, Latino, Indian, Protestant, Baptist, Buddhist, Catholic. Muslim, Democrat, Republican, Socialist, Green Party, short, tall, beautiful, plain, rich, poor, Transgender, Man, Woman... Why is that so hard to believe?

A friend gave me some wisdom once. If you only fall deeply in love with one sex you are gay. I mean fall. Crazy in love. If you can do that with both sexes that is terrific. It is just some people like very much one sex but don't ever fall in love. In that case they are probably gay but still wanting society's acceptance. Just be true to yourself. As Gaga says I don't care WTF anyone thinks" I'm true to myself. So good luck.

Most people do not understand the concept. It is so much easier to be one way or another sexually. I have no problem with your sexual preference. As long as your partner(s) are safe and have the same ideologies, it is who you are. Try to not despair, my father was an alcoholic and very abusive. (hope he made it to heaven.), he treated me as if I should have been the first "son" and not a female. I always thought until I was in my thirties that I should not be a woman. I finally found my husband and know that I am a woman. What a heavy burden to put on a small child. Stay safe and use this web site as a sounding board, just like you did. Be brave. Be careful who you share your deepest thoughts too. Glad that you came forward with such an important issue. {^_^}

Someone once hit the nail on the head by saying: “Moral is the feeling that arises in people when they realize that someone is just having more fun than they have.” According to this, sexuality has been judged and when everybody agreed that sexuality itself was ok, then they had to pick on homosexuality and bi-sexuality. Well and dam it! Nobody has to tell other adults what they have to do and how they have to be! They should put their house in order first!

Why should homosexuality or bisexuality exist? Why can we not say LOVE or LUST? Guys who like girls and girls who like guys dont have to come out of a closet or becalled "straights". So why can love not be love?

I ask myself the exact same question. All I get back from others is that bisexuals are greedy. I just reply, "not really, we are just born to love more."

From my point of view, I don´t think that bisexuality is not accepted. I believe that it is taken less seriously. I believe that bisexual is that person who is opened to have relations with men and women, but from my experience and my friends`, you always feel more attraction for one gender. I have had relations with boys and also with girls. Now, I am completely sure to be lesbian and have been with girls who were saying to be hetero. My conclusion is that they like having sex with girls, but they would never fall in love with one. So, I don´t know if calls it bisexuality, curiosity or just sexual freedom. I think the best option is not have tips about sexuality, just be honest with yourself and drift with your feelings.

people who don't understand bisexuality are probably not open for that. i don't even understand why people make so many differences. if a man loves a man wtf is wrong with that if its real love?! i like being bi cus u a bigger choice.. ;D
