I'm sure a lot of it's friendly-ish competition, to some degree. Madonna is a Leo, and Lady Gaga is an Aries- the two most egotistical (but secretly VERY insecure) signs of the zodiac! (lol I should know- I'm an Aries....) I'm sure part of it is that Madonna feels threatened because Lady Gaga is getting more attention than she is and when a Leo isn't in the spotlight or someone else takes the spotlight they throw temper tantrums like little kids hahahaha.
